IFEVS at IAA 2023
September 2023, Munich (DE).

In September we took part in IAA Mobility 2023 in Munich (5–10 September 2023), an event that drew more than half a million visitors and nearly 750 exhibitors.
As guests on the STMicroelectronics stand, we proudly displayed our new electric bicycle purpose‑built for home medical services.
The prototype was engineered around STM’s edge‑AI microcontrollers and high‑efficiency power modules, which had allowed us to extend battery life and enable on‑board diagnostics.
Its stretcher‑ready rear platform, refrigerated bio‑sample compartment and integrated siren‑light bar equipped caregivers for rapid urban response.
During the show, health‑care operators, NGOs and city officials tested the e‑bike on the Blue Lane and gave positive feedback on manoeuvrability and 120 km real-world range.
Many visitors noted that such lightweight, zero‑emission vehicles could cut response times while easing noise and traffic congestion in dense city centres.
In our daily tech talks, founder Pietro Perlo explained how software‑defined micro‑vehicles would scale across medical, logistics and civic fleets.
The dialogue confirmed that two‑wheel solutions had become an integral part of the conversation at a traditionally car‑focused event.
For us, the week validated years of research into safe, connected micro‑mobility platforms and strengthened our partnership with STM.
We have since begun organising pilot deployments with European home‑care partners, aiming to launch them in 2024.
