In late October we took part in Maker Faire Rome – The European Edition, the flagship maker festival that welcomed around 45,000 visitors and more than 300 projects to the Eternal City.1

Within the large STMicroelectronics space (Area N, booths 05‑06, spanning over 100 m² of sustainable‑technology demos), we ran our own stand showcasing next‑generation electric vehicles.2

Our headline exhibit was a solar‑assisted three‑wheel e‑bike. Photovoltaic panels integrated above the rear cargo deck provide up to 15 percent additional daily range, ideal for urban logistics and emergency response.

Alongside the trike, we unveiled scale models and digital twins of our upcoming eVTOL concepts, highlighting how common lightweight structures and STM power‑management ICs support both ground and aerial platforms.

Hands‑on sessions let families, students and developers test‑ride the trike on the outdoor track, with users praising its tight turning radius and stability.
